COLLEGE PARK, Md. — Rutgers hopes to make its way back up I-95 with a win.
The Scarlet Knights (5-4, 2-4) face Maryland (4-5, 1-5) at SECU Stadium on Saturday night (6 p.m., Fox Sports 1) with hopes of earning a second consecutive bowl bid. Greg Schiano’s team will need to break its curse in College Park, which has been a house of horror for Rutgers in the decade since it joined the Big Ten alongside the Terrapins.

The Scarlet Knights are 1-3 there in games with fans in the stands — they won in overtime during the COVID-impacted 2020 season — with the losses coming by an average margin of 27 points.
“We haven’t had a ton of success against them, especially playing on the road,” Schiano said this week. “So we have our hands full.”
